What Are 3D Gel Number Plates?
3D Gel number plates are a stylish upgrade from standard plates, featuring a high-gloss, domed finish that adds depth and character to your vehicle. Each plate is made using flat vinyl characters, carefully resin-coated with a specialised gel formula to create a bold, eye-catching effect.
At Reg King, all of our 3D Gel characters are handcrafted in-house to ensure the highest quality. We apply the maximum amount of gel to each character for a rich, glossy appearance that truly stands out.

Are 3D Gel Plates Road Legal in the UK?
Yes — when you select the LEGAL option while customising your plate, it will be fully compliant with the BS AU 145e British Standard for number plates. Legal plates will include all the required markings, including the supplier details and standard reference along the bottom of the plate.
However, if you choose the “Show Plate” option, all legal markings will be removed. Any extra customisations made under this option may also render the plate non-road legal, and it must only be used for display or off-road/show purposes.
Returns & Warranty Information
As each 3D Gel plate is custom-made to order, we’re unable to accept returns unless there is a fault with the product. However, your satisfaction is important to us — if there’s an issue with your order, please contact our team to resolve it.
